Reminded us, through music, of our shared humanity in shaping the future
On October 15th, Tolhuistuin hosted the second Futures & Sustainability gathering — an evening exploring design for sustainability, futures literacy, and the power of music to connect and provoke reflection. Participants engaged in interactive dialogues, collective sense-making, and imagination exercises guided by Indy Johar and Loes Damhof, challenging familiar assumptions about how we design and govern for the future. Through storytelling and creative prompts, they explored what it means to move from products to systems, from certainty to curiosity. The night closed with music by Shishani, reminding us of the shared human stories that underpin every sustainable future.
